Hello everyone

I just bought a Grandin LSV16A5 TV and I can't get the TNT channels
I don't know what to do
I have correctly plugged in my SCART connector and I have searched for the channels automatically as indicated in the manual, I managed to get the Canal+ channels that are encrypted for now but that's it; I can't retrieve the other channels
Do I need an HDMI cable and an antenna?
I hope someone can help me
Thank you in advance

    Hello,

One antenna will be enough; the SCART and HDMI cables do not act as an antenna, so it is normal that you are not finding anything at the moment.

      Thank you for your response
a cable antenna to connect to the decoder and the TV or an antenna to connect only to my TV?
I'm sorry to ask you this question, but I don't know anything about it, it's just to make sure I don't make a mistake in my purchase.

It's according to your desires and what equipment you have, of course. You can connect to any of them as long as there is an antenna socket. It's up to you to decide how you want the channels to pass.

You can also buy a T adapter to connect both the decoder and the TV.

Thank you very much for your advice
      I have another question
With my old TV, I didn't have this antenna problem; it was only connected by the SCART plug and I didn't have an antenna at home, and everything worked fine
I don't understand why it doesn't work with the new one
Can you shed some light on this subject?

You were watching the channels through your TV box, weren't you?

It's normal then, it was working via ADSL.

So it would rather be a problem with my operator Orange?

For me, there is no problem, but "a misunderstanding, miscommunication" on your part. Your TV is new, so you may not be very familiar with it. Have you correctly selected the right source on the remote control to switch to the box?

You say you connected your box via SCART; by selecting the correct source (SCART 1, SCART 2, HDMI, DTT...), do you see anything?

So for the DTT: I have a message saying empty database
for scart and HDMI: no signal

Is your box currently connected to the TV via a SCART cable?

      yes, absolutely
I even unplugged and plugged it back in and restarted the decoder but nothing works, it's still the same!

You must have made a wrong connection, check again if it's in the right place and properly plugged in.

There’s no reason for the box (apart from the connection or if it’s broken) not to work. In any case, this has nothing to do with an antenna.
