Wii on PC screen via USB

Hello,
I brought out an old Wii from the closet!
I noticed there is a USB cable on the Wii, and I was wondering if it's possible to use a USB cable connected to a PC monitor to play on the Wii.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, here is an example (on Amazon):

    Hi,

    Apparently, there is something better.

    Nothing indicates that the cable from your link would work in USB on a Wii
    And VGA does not transmit sound, so if the Wii is connected to a PC monitor, you won't have any sound.

        This box allows you to connect the Wii to a computer screen as if it were a TV.
