Hello, I would like to reset my PC to factory settings. Two options are available to me: either reset my PC while cleaning the drive, knowing that I have another drive with Windows to reinstall afterwards, or format my PC.
What is the best method among the two options? I want to do things properly and cleanly.
I have reset my PC to factory settings several times before.
I would like to know the difference between that and formatting.
Thank you.

Hello,
Formatting: It's simply erasing the disk and writing a file system (ntfs, fat32, etc.)
Resetting: (with cleaning the drive) It's erasing the contents of the disk to reinstall the operating system and the manufacturer's overlay as it was on the day of purchase.

If you're not happy, give yourself some thumbs up.
