Hello
I just received this email from Microsoft and here it is
Outlook.com
Important information regarding your email service
Dear user,
In a few weeks, we will be making changes to your email services that may affect your @outlook.com, @hotmail, @live, or @msn email account. Indeed, these changes will prevent the delivery of your emails in the Windows Live Mail 2012 application that you are using.
To continue using Windows Live Mail 2012 to send and receive emails on your account, you must install the latest update published here.
If you are using Windows Live Mail 2012 on Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10, we recommend switching to the Windows Mail app to stay connected and receive the latest feature updates on Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
Windows Live Essentials 2009 and 2011 are no longer supported; you need to upgrade to Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10 and use the Mail app or www.outlook.com. For more information about the Mail app, click here.
We also recommend that all users of Windows Live Mail on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 upgrade to Windows 10 and use the built-in Mail app to stay connected and receive the latest feature updates.
We advise you to save this email for future reference.
Thank you for your understanding and loyalty.
Sincerely,
The Outlook Team

Actually:
The email is official and valid!
The upcoming discontinuation of Windows Live Mail (Essentials 2012) is real.
Microsoft is therefore offering to install a KB that crashes your Windows Live Mail 2012 software, forcing you to uninstall it and use their built-in "Mail" app on Windows 10.
Once your accounts are recreated on "Mail" and if one of them is a MS account (Outlook.com, Hotmail, live...), Mail will suggest using this account to start Windows 10.
WARNING!!! If you enter your password at this point, you will have to enter that same password every time you start Windows 10!
So, just click below and do not enter the password!
Each reboot of the PC will cause Mail to error your MS mail account and it will no longer sync...
It will then offer you a repair during which you will be forced to enter your MS account password and connect to that account every time you use your PC ^^
But what are you waiting for to switch to a LINUX distro?????????
I’m trying to find out how to keep your mail account operational in "Mail" without having to permanently validate the use of the MS account, but I can't find a solution, it's complicated.
If any Geeks have a solution, it would be welcome!
