Before my "Yahoo mail" was hacked in 2013, I posted an ad on wannonce.... and only today, more than 2 years later, I have been receiving calls, "I'm even being harassed," to call a 08..... to delete the ad under threat of a fine of €350.
When I called this 08.... they made me wait for a minimum of 1 hour with the phone on the table.
That same evening, my line was restricted, and I had to pay to restore my line.
Is this a scam?

Hi,
OBVIOUSLY!!!
The 08... are PREMIUM numbers...
It's normal that you waited so long --> the longer you wait, the more you pay!!
NEVER EVER call this kind of number!!

Nothing surprising about what you are reporting here. I will explain why: Wannonce has been banned from the Trustpilot platform for failing to comply with its ethical charter. Some scammers or escorts used reviews on the platform to post their ads. It has also been excluded from the ad distribution platform Ubiflow because its clients do not want their ads to appear on Wannonce. One can understand Ubiflow and Trustpilot, as Wannonce is regularly mentioned in the French press for cases of underage prostitution or violence. Just typing "Wannonce" in Google News is enough to see it. This site encourages the prostitution of minors by turning a blind eye to the ads it publishes. Of course, the site will defend itself by claiming that its moderators are "volunteers" and that it complies with the law. However, when one sees that the ads are concentrated in the meeting section with unequivocal content regarding their lewd nature, that the ads are primarily sex-oriented, and that the topics in the forum are equally focused on this subject, one can only think that Wannonce has every interest in playing the hypocrite. The matter must indeed be very lucrative for the people behind Wannonce since they profit from the advertising revenue generated by the site's traffic. A site where 90% of the ads, forum topics, and ads are about sex and prostitution. If Wannonce were to remove all escort ads, it would result in an abysmal drop in advertising revenue. In short, the site has invented a new way to indirectly profit from prostitution while tiptoeing along the edge of the law. Ultimately, if we look at things honestly, Wannonce is prostitution 2.0: gaining an indirect benefit from prostitution on the internet, and too bad for the minors who are victims of traffickers. But the real question is: who is behind Wannonce? The identity of the people pulling the strings has been kept secret since 2018-2019, the period when the site changed hands. Curiously, all this happened at the same time that its competitor in this trade, Vivastreet, was ordered by the French authorities to shut down its meeting section following sordid prostitution cases. The name Wannonce also came up in these matters. Perhaps the answer regarding the identity of the beneficiaries of Wannonce's advertising revenue would explain many things... Maybe this information also interested the French tax authorities in addition to the judicial authorities...
