Hello, my response is late, but I thought it might help some people.
I bought a Transcontinent cathode ray tube TV, 70 cm, 16/9, provided by Leclerc (the only ones selling this brand...) with a Wallis Universal CE 90 74 26 00 universal remote because they misplaced the original remote and couldn't get another one... and since the TV was their last one (display model, huge discount!), they didn't provide me with a user manual... but considering the price, I didn't want to be picky, I thought that like most current TVs, the settings would be easy... big mistake: impossible to tune the channels.
But I finally found the solution, completely by chance!
So here’s the procedure: a LONG press on the MENU button of the remote will take you to the summary screen where all the channels are displayed. And from there, a LONG press on the INDEX button starts the automatic channel search. Then just arrange them in the right order.
Hoping to have helped some of you out of the mess I was in just an hour ago...
