Hello, for several weeks now, when I want to burn a file to a CD/DVD, I constantly see a file "desktop.ini" marked for burning. I have to delete it, but when I insert another disc, the same file returns.
Who can help me and explain how to fix this?
Thank you in advance.

Hello, just go to:
-Windows 7 File Explorer
-Organize
-Folder and search options
-Tab "View"
-Check the box "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)"

This way, your "desktop.ini" file will no longer be visible.

Thanks CoolLight for your help; I followed your instructions, but unfortunately, this box is already checked....
I remind you that this problem only appears when I want to burn files (backup of photos) onto a CD/DVD. Moreover, and I think it's related, in order to burn these files, I used to select the concerned file(s) then right-click + send to CD/DVD burner; now I get a message saying it's impossible and I have to copy these files to the desktop before I can burn them, after having previously deleted the "desktop.ini" file awaiting burning.
Does that ring a bell?
