Surprise birthday for my sister

Hello,
I want to prepare a surprise birthday party for my older sister who is turning 18 (in February, on a Sunday) at my place. But the problem is that despite my mom's help and her friends', I can't figure out what activities to have; I'm worried she might get bored... I decided to hire a DJ and call a caterer for the food.
At my place, I have a converted basement and a garden. I was thinking of having it in the garden.
As for the guests, there will be family and friends, but also children (who I need to keep entertained)...
I hope you can help me organize a party she'll remember for a long time!!
Thanks, jess-14

      Hello,
I might have an idea for you: you could leave the kids in the basement with 2-3 activities and have the birthday party in the garden and the rest of the house. The DJ could set up in the garden, which will allow them to dance. For activities, you could do karaoke.
There you go, after that it will take care of itself; I can tell you she won't be bored if she likes to dance!

    Hello,
I find the idea of "Sam" quite interesting. Regarding the activities, we should find two or three things she is passionate about. In my opinion, she will appreciate everything you do for her, so try not to stress too much.
