Enable AHCI on HP Pavilion m6-1063sf

Hello,

I just installed an SSD on my HP Pavilion m6-1063sf laptop. It is recommended to enable AHCI mode via the BIOS in order to fully benefit from the SSD's performance.
The problem is that HP heavily restricts the BIOS on its PCs, so I don't have access to this mode from my BIOS.
My BIOS version is Insyde F.26.

Would you know a way to enable this mode knowing that my PC is no longer under warranty?

    The only way I know to activate AHCI mode, if it is not enabled by default, is to go into the BIOS to do so. But beware, on a PC where the OS is already installed, enabling AHCI mode can lead to a blue screen.

      Thank you, but the problem is that I can't enable this mode from my PC's BIOS; there's no option to choose the controller mode.

      Have you checked the entire BIOS? There's nowhere that shows the AHCI mode? Unless it is enabled by default.

      Yes, I thoroughly checked everything, and I found absolutely nothing. My BIOS is really very basic. I don't think it is factory activated because the Samsung Magician software detects that AHCI mode is not enabled.
