Hello,
I bought the TI-83 Premium CE calculator 3 months ago and at first it worked well, but for the past few weeks, whenever I leave it off for say 2-3 hours, when I turn it back on the screen shows "RAM cleared" even though I'm not pressing any special buttons (which erases all my course programs). However, if I turn it off and back on immediately or 10 minutes later, everything stays normal. How can I fix this problem? Should I exchange it?
PS: I have already tried resetting it but nothing works
Thank you in advance for your help ;)

You must have installed a shell or games, right?
Try installing the latest OS, it may fix this issue: https://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17308#05

I haven't installed any shell or games. And for a while, my calculator has been working fine, but if the problem comes back, I will gladly go to your site. Thank you :)

Alright, very well, but even though it works well, I still recommend that you install the latest OS, because you will have plenty of advantages. You can find the list of these advantages here: https://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=181439#p181439
