Hello,I live alone in an apartment, and I would like to avoid buying a box and thus paying a subscription. Will I be able to connect to the internet all the time with a Wi-Fi key?Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 45.0.2454.85

If by Wi-Fi key you mean a "USB Wi-Fi adapter," which looks like a USB stick, then no, it is useless because it only allows you to access Wi-Fi if your computer does not have a built-in Wi-Fi antenna.

There is no miracle solution; if you want the internet, you have to pay.

You can also share your connection from a phone if you have a phone plan with enough data and your plan allows tethering. But this is not a solution, and if you exceed your plan, you will pay a high price.

No, a wifi key only allows a computer that does not have a built-in wifi antenna to connect to a wifi network, provided you know the code; it does not allow you to connect to the internet without a subscription in any way. Aside from reaching an agreement with your neighbors (or possibly using the internet plan from your mobile phone), there isn't really a solution to your problem.

Hello,

A Wi-Fi key acts as a receiver for a PC, enabling it to access the internet. Therefore, you need internet, and thus a router. Without an internet subscription, it is impossible to connect to the internet.

The Wi-Fi key will only be useful if you already have a router, allowing a computer (without a Wi-Fi card) to connect via Wi-Fi.

Therefore, Orange/SFR/Bouygues and the like will be essential for obtaining internet =)
