HELP Samsung Digimax digital camera

I was in the process of taking a photo when the camera fell. The lens remains open and when I turn it on, I see the screen for a few seconds, it beeps three times and then turns off. The lens stays open, the battery level is full. Is there anything to do?? Has this happened to anyone?? Thank you for your help, urgent!

Hi.
Try to see if the lens is properly centered with respect to its guide.
It may be that during the fall, the lens moved and got stuck in a position that no longer allows it to slide.

So, gently move it from side to side.

Hello, I have the same problem and in my case, pressing the battery cover fixes it.
I've had this from the beginning and the device cannot be tilted.

This problem is not covered by the warranty since it is due to the use........

Hello,
Due to a mishap, I have saturated the device's flash memory (thinking I was transferring files to my memory card).
The problem is that the device doesn't respond anymore, it won't turn on (only for two seconds, a beep, and then nothing)
I want to format the flash memory to empty the device. Is it possible? How can I do that?

I have a Samsung S 500 device, and I bought a one-gigabyte memory card some time ago. For a while now, I've been taking a lot of photos, and I've realized that after a certain number of pictures taken, I can no longer view them. The screen displays "file error", and I can't read them on the computer either. So every time this happens, I have to empty the app and format the card. This is annoying because as a result, I can only take a limited number of photos even though I have a huge card!

I was really scared with my device that had this problem, I shouldn't have tried to force the lens, I couldn't do it, but my dad forced it more and suddenly it worked. Well, let's not get too carried away ^^

I had the same problem as Camille, I followed the advice 3x, I moved the lens, turned it gently in both directions and it unlocked, it's working again! Thank you!
