Charger won't fit into the wall socket anymore.

Question

Hello, I have a real problem to share with you. Today, as always, I wanted to charge my laptop. However, the charger no longer fits into the wall outlet. The issue is simple, the "little hole" on the charger no longer fits into the "little gray thing" on the wall socket. The "little gray thing" seems way too big to fit in.
What is really puzzling is that until now, and I've been using this charger since November, it fit without any problems. I really don't understand where this problem is coming from.

Put your index and middle finger from your right hand in the "hole", you'll see it's effective, your charger will work again.  Even if those 2 fingers shouldn't be in that hole :laughing:

The male ground pin of the wall socket no longer fits into the female ground socket of your charger. That's the vocabulary covered.

In the female socket of your charger, there are two metal pieces that press on either side of the male plug that is supposed to fit in. It is possible that these two metal pieces have moved for some reason and are obstructing the opening.
