Hello everyone!

I would like to modify the text of the Koh Lanta logo to Troll Lanta, but I can't do it by myself, which is why I'm asking for your help!
Here is the logo I would like to personalize: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/fr/d/db/Koh-Lanta_logo.png

Thank you in advance!

      Hi,
I have Photoshop CS6 but as I mentioned earlier, I'm still a beginner in this field and therefore I cannot create this logo myself...

      Thanks anyway!

Beginner and spending at least €100 on software that you don’t know how to use is not my concern, but when you see Gimp, it makes no sense. In my opinion.
      Never heard of open-source?

Furthermore, Toshop, like Gimp, is not the most suitable for this kind of work.
      Inkscape, for working in vector.

100 €, that's an Albanian Toshop. Stop saying nonsense... ;)

I have a buddy who does them for 50 euros.
Photoshop under Montenegrin brand Adobe that works like the real thing and comes in 23-kilo bags if you're interested.

I'm doing well, thank you, I have what I need. But 23 kg sounds like a scam.

      Hi,
moulagoffre isn't asking for someone to do the work for him, he's asking if we can help him do it.
      Do you see the nuance?

Additionally, normally, on ccm, we don't do the work, we teach the users how it works...

Super! Thanks in advance, sir! This logo also works if the other one doesn't (you just need to change the "Vietnam" to 2015 if possible) :)

      Hi Flokk!

I'm asking for help so that someone can create the "logo" for me as I lack experience in graphic design and I would like something very "clean" and professional...

I apologize for this little "off-topic."

No problem, I go off-topic too.
That said, I repeat, doing the work is not in the spirit of the site.
It’s also true that no moderator ever intervenes in that regard, so I wonder why I’m stressing about it.
You bought an expensive software, you might as well learn to use it, right?
There are plenty of tutorials available, if you just know how to search the internet. ;)

      There are no sushis
Flokk rightly estimates that this forum, for commercial audience reasons, prefers to focus on software like Cinema 4D, After Effects, Photoshop CC, or Sony Vegas Pro while turning a blind eye to the fact that they are manifestly cracked at 90%, rather than cleaning up the topics and promoting their free and open-source equivalents
I'll make a tutorial for you because the first time I dealt with this, I really struggled and regretted that there weren't any, except for saying that the font is Ironsides SF and you have to figure it out on your own.

    Here it is

Let me know if you want it with a transparent background or without the shadows.

Quick summary if you want to get started
It's up to you to adjust the settings; I obviously haven't noted everything, and it's mostly by feel
I made my wood textures myself, but you can find some online
For the texture of the letter faces: open a Koh Lanta logo and use the eyedropper to take the lightest and darkest colors
Basically a straw yellow and a light brown
Put them in the foreground and background
Open a new file, any color
      Apply the cloud render filter
Press ctrl F to repeat the filter until you achieve a sharp effect
Then apply noise filter followed by Gaussian blur
Once satisfied, save as a pattern
For the second texture, new file, black and gray as colors
Then apply the cloud filter like before
Then render fibers filter, then directional blur filter, 90-degree angle
Once done, save that as a pattern too
Type your text (SF Ironsides font on Dafont)
      Arc transformation
Go to layer styles, set your texture as pattern overlay, drop shadow, bevel and emboss, stroke.
To dirty it up, take irregular low opacity brushes and paint on light or dark spots; you can also use the density + and - tools and sponge to desaturate
Then duplicate your layer and this time overlay your black wood texture
Move it below and slightly enlarge it for a relief effect
You can also convert it to a 3D text layer and apply your texture; that’s what I believe I did

Finally, draw a rectangle filled with your black wood texture, also apply layer styles, arc transformation, and perspective
With the polygonal lasso or an irregular eraser, roughly erase around the letters following their contours a bit

For each layer, you obviously need to tweak levels, hues, etc., based on the original to get as close as possible
Finally, adjust your montage on an original Koh Lanta logo and try to patch the gaps with the healing and clone stamp tools.

The logo is perfect (I'm going to keep it as it is!), you did a great job!

      Thanks again!

      Hello,

I am a passionate summer camp director but not great with computers.
Would it be possible for you to modify the Koh Lanta logo to:
      - Koh L'Ansating
      - or if that’s too long, KO LANSTAIN

This would really enhance my welcome and imagination for the children.
(on a transparent background if possible)
