Hello, I can't leave my GIGASET C620 on its dock because it heats up so much. What should I do? Thank you.

Excerpt from the notice on page 9

If this was during the first charge... we might have thought that was "normal" but after the first 8 hours I find it quite strange...
Is it the base that is heating up? Not the device?
I advise you to check once more that the batteries are properly installed and if they are, check that the base or the charger does not heat up when the device is removed (unplug the power supply otherwise).
Then get in touch with your seller's customer service.

Exactly the same problem. I have disabled the screen's sleep lighting
to see if it reduces this overheating, which seems abnormal to me.

it was a bad contact between the batteries. everything is back to normal.

Correctly installed that means head/shoulder as in the image (+ top right and bottom left)...
        Are these the original batteries??
Is this combo new? Or not?

Yes, these are the supplied batteries and the phone is new. Initially, everything was normal; this overheating has only been occurring for the past 2 or 3 days.
