Beats Studio Wireless Ear Cushions Issue

Hello,
It’s been 3 months since I bought my Beats headphones and they work great. But I just noticed that for one of the ear cups, the fabric surrounding it is coming off and the foam is showing through.
I would like to know if this is eligible for Apple’s warranty or if it’s possible to fix it myself.
Thank you to those who will respond.

Hello, I have the same problem with my Beats headphones, this is the second time I've had them changed in 8 months. So every 4 months they come apart. I find it rather shameful for a headset that costs €400!!!! In any case, Fnac told me that they could issue a refund if it happens a third time…

Because you think that paying 400 euros for a so-called brand, just because some rap stars designed it, makes this headset high-end equipment?

      Totally wrong, it's a fool's trap.

The Beats brand is crap that was created to make money.

In any case, in terms of comfort and sound, it's the one I prefer. The other headphones are too tight.

    Yay :P

I had the same problem and I simply applied a bit of "two-part glue" (the super strong glue that works through the reaction of two non-adhesive solutions) on the areas where the fabric had come unstuck. Before it dried (about 20 seconds, I would say), I pressed the fabrics back in place with my nail (use something thin, like a toothpick if you don't have a nail) and then my headset was as good as new! :)

Don't waste your warranty for a fabric coming loose ;)

    Have a good day.

p.s. The advantage of this glue is that it will last at least a year, so if the problem comes back -> another bit of glue and you're good for another year ^.-

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that on my headset, it was the outer fabrics (the ones that don't touch the ear directly) that had come unglued, hence the use of a nail or toothpick.

    Hi,

I think the warranty should work (if it's less than a year) but not Apple's.

Beat is like Apple, low-end stuff sold at a premium price.

Alright, I bought it on the rueducommerce site, do you think the warranty will be valid?

        It should work.
Send them an email with the photo or go to their forum to explain the issue with the photo as well.
