Hestec Remote Control

Hello everyone. We just bought a universal remote Hestec for my mother, who is 91 and has vision difficulties. It's very good overall, except that despite our patience and attempts, we can't sync it with the new Samsung UE40EH5000 TV's infrared.
Some say the instructions are not good...help! Thank you all.

then on/off programming and then for Program + and - and the same for the volume

Thank you baladur13. Yes. Except that I see that our original hestec notice differs on the blinking and the available time to perform the manipulation. I will try again tonight with your method when I go back. And I will report on the mission.

Thank you baladur13. Mission accomplished successfully, thanks to your more precise instructions. In fact, you need to hold down the relevant button until it flashes and stabilizes. I've repeated the process for each function. My mother is thrilled. Super efficient and easy to handle. I plan to build you a statue out of Lego bricks, will that do?

Thank you, it will be done on Saturday for his 91st birthday. Not to mention that my father just got a spot to join her. It’s a celebration! If I have any other technical issues, I won’t hesitate to reach out. Kudos for your humility, but a statue in Pepito, still not?

Hello.
A universal remote doesn’t have all the functions that the original remote provided with the television has.
And I think that’s the problem.

Thank you, tribunal. Yes, I know. We just want on/off, volume up/down, and channel up/down. This is indeed provided on Hestec and is sufficient. I don't understand why it doesn't work with us. We're being treated like potatoes.
