It's not complicated though. When you replace each of the 2 "num" in
http://www.service-downloads.com//data/files/Thomson/RCU/ROCnum/ROCnum_FR.pdf with 2404, it becomes http://www.service-downloads.com//data/files/Thomson/RCU/ROC2404/ROC2404_FR.pdf and then it works!

I am looking for the code and the user manual for a ROC 240 remote control for a Thomson television - model SUNKAI SLN 7095.

Do you have the manual for your remote control?

If you have it and there is a method for Quick Programming with a 1-digit subcode, that number is 1

If it still doesn't work, check this manual http://thomson-roc.ifrance.com/ Your remote control's reference is not listed there, but maybe with a bit of luck the code search method corresponds to your remote. Hello,  To set up a universal remote control for a TV, there are 2 steps:  Step 1  Enter the code corresponding to the television into the remote control. I don’t know if you’ve done it or if it was already done. When you press the volume buttons on the remote, does the TV respond? If not, you will need to start by trying to find the code.   Step 2  Proceed to set up the channels. The program to do this is located in the TV. What can sometimes be difficult is finding the button you need to access it. After that, it’s generally quite straightforward.  Talk to you later.   -- To err is human, to persist is diabolical.

If you have already tried to find your TV's code with http://thomson-roc.ifrance.com/, try now with what is explained here http://www.service-downloads.com//data/files/Thomson/RCU/ROC350/ROC350_FR.pdf  There are several dozen ROC remotes, many of which fortunately have the same methods for searching codes. The problem is finding the method that corresponds to yours.  Regarding the Sliding brand, it seems to be overlooked by remote control manufacturers. I have consulted several lists of codes from manufacturers other than Thomson and it is nowhere to be found; which is not a very good sign. We must hope that it is a sub-brand.  -- To err is human, to persevere is diabolical.

Have you tried changing the channels using the buttons on the television?  If a channel setting has been done previously, you should be able to change the program with these buttons that you need to find as they are usually very discreet. Often at the bottom of the TV or above the screen, or on the side.  -- To err is human; to persist is diabolical.

I think you shouldn't insist on entering a code that seems impossible to find.  Instead, use a code search method.  Look here http://www.service-downloads.com//data/files/Thomson/RCU/ROC56/ROC56_FR.pdf If the lower part of this remote control, starting from the Menu and Exit buttons, is identical to yours, use one of the code search methods (C or D).  I indeed cannot find the manual for the ROC 50. However, I found six manuals for remote controls with the reference ROC + 2 digits. They are all identical regarding the TV part and differ only for the other devices. In principle, it should be the same for yours.  -- To err is human; to persist (in error) is diabolical.
