Hello, I posted a YouTube video a few hours ago featuring a little ranking of anime openings based on my opinion, including music and visuals from the anime. However, my video got blocked immediately afterwards because it was challenged everywhere, especially by TV Tokyo.

We have identified copyrighted content in your video.
Viewers cannot watch this video on YouTube due to the rules set by the requester.

That's the message, and what I don't understand is that many people have done the same thing as me (like in their video such as this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7PbwlAnneA or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S88J7K7hxPE . After that, I saw people who ranked openings added this at the bottom of their description and/or in their video:

Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use. Any impact?

I've heard that you can put a kind of label to avoid blocks from the companies that made the anime. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Hello,

YouTube has a new privacy policy that has been in place for a few months, putting many YouTubers (SLG, What the cut, and others...) at risk regarding copyright issues. I don't know if you've noticed, but many links have been removed, such as Disney or movie links or free access on YouTube. They are starting with those who publish new videos (easier to filter) and will soon start hunting down already uploaded videos. That’s also why you'll see a lot of videos with the label "Re-upload" due to copyright issues.

To have copyright, there aren't many ways to go about it. You inevitably have to go through the video owner and get their agreement... It’s tedious, but you wouldn't have any problems with YouTube since you have the consent of the content owner.

I hope I have answered your question.

Best regards.

Sure, but the owners of the videos I want to share have quite a lot of videos on their channels, and they are among the users who never respond or take 6 months to reply to requests. So how do I handle the requests, like, hello, could I please have your permission to publish one of your videos that belongs to you? I would need some clarification on this, please. Thank you!

I can't seem to find a place to ask a question on YouTube, like via DM. There are only forums or solutions to previously asked questions that don't address my request. Do you have a link, please?
