Hello,

I am trying to find out if there is a way to select a set of rows where one of their cells contains a specific word?
Let me explain: I have many rows, each containing the same number of columns. In the second column, depending on the row, it sometimes says X and sometimes Y. See the image below for illustration.

I would like to select all the rows where the cell in this second column displays X to copy them to a new tab. These rows correspond to the gray ones in the image.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Michaël

.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 38.0

    Hello

You select all the columns and then apply a Filter (Data Tab Filter) on column B with criterion X
You copy the filtered rows and paste them on another sheet using Paste Special Values only

    Best regards
    Via
