Configuration du kernel

bonjour
jai des pbs pour configurer mon kernel
(jai extrait les sources je suis dans leurs dossiers)
je fais

make xconfig

ou

make menuconfig

(respectivement)
et jobtiens

make xconfig

make config

aucun pb mais je ne trouve pas cela pratique
