Hello everyone,
Well, I have an original AutoCAD 2008 license that I installed over 4 years ago on a PC running Windows XP 32 bits, and now I want to reuse it on a new PC running Windows 7 64 bits. I tried to activate it on this new machine, but without success; I received a message saying that this key is incorrect. My question is the following: will the activation key work if I uninstall AutoCAD from the old PC? If so, how should I proceed?

Hi,
I'm not sure about what I'm saying, but I believe that AutoCAD licenses are linked to the PC and therefore cannot be activated on a second PC.
To be confirmed. -
Indeed, Darky15 is right, it's about that... the license is assigned to a workstation.
But it is possible to transfer it to another one...

Or request another validation code from AutoDesk.
