Temporarily Disable Gmail on Android Phone

Hello,

I want to stop receiving my emails on my phone TEMPORARILY (during vacation, to disconnect).

I was considering changing the email address in the GMAIL app settings so that it doesn't sync every time I'm near a Wi-Fi hotspot.

I couldn't find how to do it in the settings.

How do I "disable" the Gmail app or the mailbox temporarily and be able to reactivate it later upon my return?

    Actually, to disable synchronization, you just need to go to Settings, then scroll to Accounts, click on Google, then click on the account name, and finally uncheck Gmail.
