Hello,

I just built a computer with a brand new setup. I have an Antec VSK3000E case, and one detail caught my attention. Indeed, a red LED is flashing at the front of the case (between the reset button and the first USB port). The light is quite unstable; it can stay on for several seconds and suddenly turn off, then flash randomly – it's strange, it almost seems like a faulty connection... I can't find a manual anywhere, not even on the Antec website... I really don't understand the meaning of this LED.
I opened the PC and checked inside, but everything seems in place. Furthermore, I was able to detect all the components and install the corresponding drivers without any issues, but this little LED is worrying me a bit... I'm not sure if I need to share my configuration, but I'm attaching it just in case!

It's worth mentioning that I don't have this motherboard, but a compatible one with my CPU.
Does anyone have any idea what this light could mean?
Thanks in advance.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 37.0

Hi

On PCs, there are two LEDs: one solid light indicating that the PC is on, and the other that blinks to show hard drive activity or system activity in general, so no worries.

If you're copying large files, the light should stay solid, while if you leave your PC idle, it might occasionally turn off. Hope this answers your question.

Thank you for this quick response!
Indeed, I've experienced inserting a USB drive or leaving it a bit at rest and it seems to match what you say! It should be fine, thank you!
