LinuxMint 17.1 Cinnamon rendering mode avec carte graphique SiS

Bonjour,
Je rencontre un problème avec mon installation (toute fraîche) de Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca avec environnement Cinnamon.
Je m'explique : quand mon bureau apparaît, au démarrage, un message s'affiche (cf photo) et mon ordi rame beaucoup.

Ce doit être un problème de compatibilité avec ma carte graphique mais le gestionnaire de pilotes affiche "aucun pilote propriétaire utilisé".
J'ai déjà essayé de modifier le fichier /etc/xorg.conf avec la ligne

Driver sis

ou

Driver vesa

mais rien n'y fait.
