I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and when I send the emoticons available on my keyboard to an iPhone, the person receives question marks instead of my emoticons. What should I do to fix this problem?

You need to go to the settings of your messages. Go to the inbox of your messages and click on the button to the left of the middle button (the opposite of the back button), then click on settings and go to input method and click on automatic.

to make a long story short, the trick is: go to messages, settings, more settings, sms, set input mode to automatic. done on Samsung S6 and it works perfectly, all emojis go through on iPhone.
