Hello, I have a Nokia Asha 311 mobile phone and I receive small white rectangles via SMS from my friends; what do these small white rectangles mean?

    These small white rectangles are the emojis that your friends send you with their Android phones.
    These emojis are not compatible with your phone, so it shows small white squares instead.
