Is jepoeme still active?

I am ***

I was just told that jepoeme, a poetry site, would be closed for France or Europe and still active in other countries or continents.

The jepoémiens are suffering from this unavailability of the site and many are unable to retrieve their poems.

I ask you, on behalf of all jepoémiens, to please check (if possible) and to help us recover our texts.

    Hello, I think the only hope is to search in Google's cache... type in Google

    - site:www.jepoeme.com "poems by PSEUDO"
    where PSEUDO is your username to display the list of your publications
    - click on "Cached next to the link provided by Google"

    - do the same for each poem by searching
    - site:www.jepoeme.com "poem TITLE_POEM"
    where TITLE_POEM is the title of your publication
    - click on "Cached next to the link provided by Google"

    -- Warning, nothing ensures that the page exists in cache.

    I have been publishing on the site Plume en Plume (greater respect for authors) since the crash but I was able to recover some of my poems with this method.

    example:
    On Google, I typed Tremiere JePoeme
    a page opened
    I took the first suggestion
    then clicked on > the cache
    it's the small triangle pointing down.

    From the titles found, it is possible to copy/paste in the same way.
    > One by one each title in the browser
    then go check in the cache (small triangle pointing down).
    With a bit of patience, I hope you will be able to find the first page
    (the poem submission). Good luck! Have a nice day!

    In my opinion, it's sadly lost for good, in the depths of inaccessible servers.
    That said, there's no need to scream in the title and post duplicate messages.

      Don't be defeatist, telliak. I've already retrieved some poems.

      Sorry for the duplicate, I'm not very skilled with computers.

      My title didn't upset Ecureuil or the "how it works" team.

        1) Well done if you were able to recover some title phrases and perhaps complete poems.
        2) Some information on the internet indicates that the site is not the only one that has closed.

    It's unfair, I lost everything with my computer being formatted. I was counting on jepoeme and no email to warn us, pffff.

      We will know on February 23 because the site is registered until the 22nd.
      We can imagine anything, and I don't want you, Unavis, to fret over it. I am shocked too. I signed up for "the whirlwind of words": a cool site!
      A bug? Did the administrator realize that jepo was certainly not bringing in enough money? (He opened a "jerencontre," I believe: that's to be verified) As Ecureuil said, jepo is not the only site to close.
      Let's stay hopeful, though. You have my sympathy.

      I had been registered for quite a few years, it's a shame the site closed down, yes they weren't making enough money with us, on the site I was ysmers, good poems to everyone, it's a shame to lose sight of each other like this!
      which sites are good for poetry texts and others?
      you need to save your texts the old-fashioned way, on paper or on a USB stick
      looking forward to reading you, I'll keep my old username

      I went through it... it's a lot of work, but I was able to bookmark my page with my texts (even though I had them on Word, but it allows me to have the comments and other poets)! A Eclipse passing by! Thanks for the info, Alexandre.

      A BIG THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart
      I retrieved .34 poems and was able to check 33 others
      my new PC doesn't recognize my USB stick and I was quite bothered.

    For Julien: a big thank you: all advice is welcome. With friendship.

    For Oasis: don't worry. Just a piece of advice:
    by using Alexandre's link (search by archives) it seems easier. I'm not tech-savvy. But with Alexandre's link that I THANK again, I managed to recover almost everything. If you're really having trouble, Oasis, let me know here or on "the whirlwind of words," carefully indicating your usernames (if you've had several and the registration dates). It's long but feasible.
