"Open in new tab" missing from right-click menu IE 11

Hello,

I don't understand why the "open in a new tab" option in the right-click context menu in Internet Explorer 11 has disappeared. I reset Internet Explorer while checking personal data, but with no success.
I looked a bit in the Internet Options > Tabs > I checked and unchecked boxes, restarting the computer each time, and nothing worked.
I also couldn't find any answers on forums, or only for earlier versions.
Help!

So that's exactly what I tried to do, but I can't find where it is exactly in the internet options.
    Where is it?
Because in General, there is Tab, and I have reset the settings to default.
In Advanced, there is a long list, but none seems to match what I'm looking for. That's why I reset everything.
If you can give me the exact way, Strumpfette...

You go to Options -> in General you click on Tabs -> Default settings. Normally everything should open in a new tab. Send me screenshots in PM if you want more details.

So, the operation from 01/26 is not working even after restarting the computer.

You can go to Internet Options -> Tabs -> and there you check "Always activate the newly created tab."

Hello, I don't personally use IE, so I don't really have a direct answer for your problem. However, I'll do some searching on my end (it's my job to find information). What I can advise you to do, however, is to switch to a different browser (you won’t have that problem anymore) or use keyboard shortcuts to navigate.
CTRL + L selects your URL
CTRL + C copies the URL
    CTRL + T opens a new tab
CTRL + V pastes your URL

Also, you can always hold down CTRL while clicking on the link you want to open in a new tab or use SHIFT to open it in a new window. If you're using a mouse, you can also use the scroll wheel click on the link (that should normally open it in a new tab).

These are all the solutions I can offer you for now.

    Thank you jpfoufou!

    I didn’t know about CTRL+link, it’s perfect, it’s even faster than right-clicking.
Still... I would like to understand what happened and regain a context menu worthy of the name...

    Hello,

Have you checked that you didn't disable the tabs in the internet options?

    :)

I have the same problem after reinstalling IE11... how can I make the tabs created from a page link not be empty by default?
