Hello,  I am using Windows 7, and for a few days now, I have been getting the following message in a pop-up window: Check system setting fail. Please make sure the program runs with Administrator permission. When I click OK, it appears 2 more times, then nothing happens.  Does anyone know where this is coming from and how to get rid of it? Thanks for your replies.

The responsible program for this false alert (I had exactly the same terms) is by Inateck (in my case after installing a USB/SATA/IDE adapter).

Hi  In this message window, don't you have the program's name in the title at the top? It would allow you to know which program is displaying this message.  It could be a cleaner that displays alerts to make you purchase the program.  To see:   Follow this tutorial: https://www.malekal.com/tutoriel-farbar-recovery-scan-tool-frst/ This will generate two FRST reports. I can't find any reference on Google regarding this popup.
