Hello everyone,
Not long ago, I rooted my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1) and once the root was complete, Superuser sends me a notification that my su binary is not up to date. I've tried several times, but to no avail. It then informs me that I can update it using recovery. So, I reboot my tablet into recovery mode and when I reach the home page, I don't know what to do. I tried updating the file that I used to root my device. It tells me that my file has been updated, but when I reboot, the binary is still not up to date. I've looked online but owning a TWRP recovery, I found no results. Moreover, when I tried to move files to my SD card, it didn't accept it because my system is not fully rooted.
Hoping the answers will come very quickly,
Thank you in advance
Nico

Already tried... They tell me to either do it directly (which doesn't work) or to do it in recovery mode, which I don't know how to do...

Hello
although this is a bump, I have the answer to the problem in this post:
Here’s what I did
- you open SuperSU
go to settings
clean up for a reinstallation from Play Store
once cleaned the phone restarts
go to Play Store
redownload SuperSU...update...installation successful
Enjoy!!!!

The application of root or installation of "binaries" is ONLY done via PC. Without a PC, the tablet will not respond. Like any other application on the tablet. The tablet relies on Internet via PC ONLY.
lol !!!
I rooted my 2 LG phones without a PC and the Danew tablet and the su binary is up to date!!
see you +

There are many people who have the same problem with this update of the SuperSU binary files to root your phone or tablet running on Android. In my opinion, you can choose a good method and install it properly. Then go to the Google Play Store and install a new version of SuperSU and make sure that the internal storage space on your phone is sufficient. After that, install SuperSU normally and follow the instructions. If you can't install the updates the first time, restart your phone or tablet and continue. And don't forget that the internet connection should always be active.
You have thought about connecting the tablet to your computer!!! Otherwise, nothing can happen! The root application or installation of the "binaries" is ONLY granted through a PC. Without a PC, the tablet will not respond. Just like any other application on the tablet. The tablet relies on the Internet through the PC ONLY.
I am in the same situation, that's why I was able to respond to you.
