Java (TM) Platform SE Binary

Question

Hello,
I recently bought a new PC with Windows 6 bits.
I'm using the downloading software Groovedown, and recently when I open Groovedown, it crashes and a window appears saying "Java(TM) Platform SE Binary has stopped working," then Groovedown closes.
If this has happened to you and you have any solutions... :/

Knowing that Groovedown is a Java project, I advise you to start by uninstalling your current Java and updating it:  The current version is 7 Update 9 here: https://www.java.com/en/download/  Keep me posted!

Just a supposition, but is it possible that due to the Java updates, the Groovedown program is no longer compatible?  Is Groovedown up to date?

JavaScript is completely different from Java, so you've got the wrong topic and you're less likely to find an answer.

Hello,
To find out the version of any software, go to the folder where your application (.exe) is located, right-click on it, then select Properties, then Details, and there you should normally find the version of the application.
