    As long as you've deleted all accounts and contacts related to this classic scam... you should be "fine"....

    These tall tales are created by scammers who, while good at deceiving the "mark"... are not necessarily skilled hackers... anyway, as long as none of the deleted accounts had elements that could connect to other accounts you own... hacking your machine is very unlikely...

    For safety, you can change the passwords of your other accounts...

      Thank you, xileh, that's what I'm going to do. In fact, he even published my video on YouTube, but I took care to report it and it was removed, but nothing guarantees me that he won't republish it. But actually, I don't care; the main thing is that he doesn't send it to my contacts. That will teach me not to do it again! And not to hang out on those crappy sites anymore.

        It’s possible that he will try to republish it... but he will give up as soon as he sees that there is no "feedback," that you aren’t responding to any of his requests... he has "other things to do"... since there are plenty of "clients" out there...

        For your contacts, if your "two activities" are well separated... there’s no reason for him to be able to send anything to your... uh... "soft" contacts... since he’s not supposed to know about the existence of accounts that weren’t dedicated to "hooking up"...

        Finally, without being a moralizer, indeed most of these sites bring more "problems" than anything else... it’s the favorite hunting ground for scammers... (along with classifieds websites...) so... to be avoided!

      You warn all your contacts that they will receive a video from a stranger and that they should definitely not open it because it contains a nasty virus.

        It's indeed a useful suggestion... but in this case, if the different accounts were (truly) well-separated... it may not be necessary to "alert" the contacts of the "soft" accounts (not dedicated to dating...)

        The trick with the infected video is starting to be known... Anyone receiving such a warning could fairly presume that the video is actually related to, uh... a moment of distraction!

        Anyway, it's a personal choice to make...

        Yes, I agree with you Xileh, I think I took care not to leave any traces. There's just in my conversation with that pirate he mentioned two people he found in my FB contacts dedicated to flirting. The first one is a girl I've seen two or three times on cam, plus she's Portuguese so I don't care, and the other is a guy who only uses this account to flirt as well. I notified them by phone, and anyway, I don’t mind if he sees the video. So, I don’t think I have anything to worry about. Thanks again to both of you.
