With or without a CD, the drawer opens by itself 10 seconds after power on, remains open for 30 seconds, then closes for 10 seconds and opens for 30 seconds periodically on its own. With the Open/Close button, it can be closed or opened immediately, but the periodic opening-closing resumes. The presence of a CD is not detected. There is no reading of information on the tracks, nor of their content.
After the power is turned off, the drawer remains open (or comes out and stays open) and can only be closed by pushing it by hand.
I replaced the optical block with a (supposedly) new one purchased online without results. I was warned to remove the anti-static protection, but I didn't see any.
The malfunction started to appear occasionally, then more and more frequently before becoming permanent.
Could you help me, please?

Hi.
The problem is probably not with the optical block, but with the electronics behind it. Since the device isn't very old, the best thing to do is to contact TEAC's customer service; for such a device, it's worth having it repaired by a professional.
