Hello, I acquired components to build my own PC, and after installing everything, the screen is not detected by my motherboard (I'm currently using the screen from my old PC and the connection is not compatible with my graphics card).
Thank you for your help

My configuration:
Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus VII Ranger
Processor: Intel Core i7 4790K
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 760 MSI
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB

Hello
It's normal, the BIOS is configured to use your graphics card and therefore disables the integrated graphics processor on the motherboard.
You need to change it in the BIOS, if I remember correctly in:
advanced
On-board device or configuration
and/or
Integrated peripherals.

If I connect it to my motherboard, the power of the graphics card will not be used, right?

Absolutely! The graphics card will be disabled.

Hello! I know I'm doing this 11 years later, but I just followed your instructions and my main screen stopped working, and none of the inputs were functioning. I had to remove and replace the BIOS battery to restart it :(
