Uninstalling Catalyst Control Center Risks

Good evening,

here's my question: I wanted to know if there is a risk in uninstalling Catalyst Control Center? Since these are the drivers for my graphics card, I'm afraid it might completely crash my computer... (Yes, I'm limited in terms of computer knowledge...)

To be more precise, I want to upgrade from version 14.4 to version 19.1 (beta), but when I simply download version 19.1 and follow the indicated steps, a window appears telling me that everything went well. However, I realize that I am still on version 14.4 and that nothing has changed. I've tried several times, without success.

So I would like to try this time by completely uninstalling Catalyst Control Center and then trying to reinstall everything.

If someone can help me, I would be very grateful! :)

Hi Razekh, you can uninstall the software because logically your card has a small graphics card, not powerful but it works, so you can uninstall it. But for me, don't install the BETA, you risk having surprises, rather take a driver tested by AMD. By the way, where do you download your driver?

Hello again, I forgot to ask you about the specifications of your graphics card. For example, I have a processor + graphics card combo: AMD E1-1200 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics × 2.

I downloaded the driver from the AMD website

My "combo" CPU/GPU is:
-Intel Core i5 4460
-AMD Radeon R9 280
