Upgrade the RAM of an ASUS X52J

Hello everyone,

Before I start, I'd like to clarify that I really don't know much about computers, so if you could reply in the simplest way possible, please.

I simply want to increase the RAM of my Asus X52J PC running Windows 7.

But I don't know the current RAM value and I'm not sure if it can be upgraded. So: how can I find out the RAM value? How do I know if it can be upgraded?

Finally, if it can be upgraded on this model of PC, what type of RAM sticks should I buy? And how are they installed?
