Request browsing history from the internet service provider.

Hello!

I have a question: is it possible to ask the internet service provider (like VOO, Belgacom, in Belgium, for example) to send you a detailed list of visited websites?

It is usually easy to erase the browsing history on the computer itself. So, would a person wanting to know which websites have been visited by another person they live with have the possibility to make such a request to the internet company?

(In my opinion, even if the person making such a request is indeed the one who officially signed the contract, it still seems strange or even illegal if such a process is possible).

I am concerned that someone living with me may have resorted to this measure if it is possible... on the other hand, I am not sure and I wouldn't want to call the internet provider just to check.

In any case, would they say "yes" or would they have to say "no" if such a request is made to them?

Thank you in advance and excuse my mistakes in French (I am Czech, living in Brussels, Belgium).

    Hello,

In any case, you speak French better than some "French" people, uh even ;)
It's impossible to know which sites your line has visited. The provider might have such a list, but since it's illegal practice, I doubt they will share it with you ;-)
Ask the NSA, although I doubt you'll get an answer (but they definitely have your history, that's for sure).
The only solution: install parental controls in the future.
