The charger tip of my phone is stuck.

I have a Samsung Ativ Smart PC tablet, and the end of the adapter broke off and got stuck in the port on the keyboard. So I can no longer charge my tablet because the adapter is broken, and I also need to remove the stuck end. How can I get that stuck end out? By hitting the keyboard hard against a hard object? With pliers?
