Unsupported codec

Solved

Hello,
I recorded my CDs on my computer and then copied them to a USB stick that I can read without any problem on the computer and on another laptop. However, when I try to play that USB stick in the MP3 port of my Dacia Duster, I inevitably get the message "unsupported codec," how can I break out of this endless loop? Thank you for your help!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Mozilla 11.0

Are your CDs in MP3 format?
There is a playback issue with the files on your USB drive, which is not compatible with your car radio.
Do you have a CD player in this car radio?

My CDs are commercial CDs that I copied onto my computer and then onto the USB drive... There is no CD player on this car radio/GPS...

In fact, on Windows Media, there is the option to extract CDs in MP3 format, which I didn't know. I was shown how to do it, and I re-extracted the files, and now there are no more playback issues in the car radio!
Thanks to those who tried to help me.
