Sleep mode switch

Hello,

My computer regularly shuts down (often) and displays "switching to sleep mode." I have to unplug it and then turn it back on. It seems that some software might be causing this problem. Could someone help me resolve it? Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello, have you simply tried to disable the screensaver? If not, go to Start, Control Panel, Display, Screensaver, and disable it. If you have already tried that, then you need to analyze the problem by looking at the software that is running when the issue occurs.

Hello Valdil,

I’ve disabled the screensaver, and my computer shuts down no matter what I do. I still haven't found a solution; I’m trying to remove the software one by one, but it’s still the same.

Hummmm have you noticed if there was a software that was launched every time it crashed your PC? Does the problem appear after a long period of inactivity or quickly?

it can stop in five minutes or in half an hour, but always when we're using it and with any software. I've removed as many as possible, but it keeps happening.......

I have an antivirus, I cleaned my PC (dust), I've tried everything and still my problem persists, I believe I have no choice but to see a technician, thanks anyway.
