Good evening, correct me if I'm wrong, but time-shifting is when you pause your show or movie (without turning off your freeplay) and come back sometime later to continue watching it!
To record, the simplest way is to use the record button on your remote (then fill in the fields + OK) or go to the Free website, in your account, television - program guide or schedule a recording.
