Firefox Temporary File Directory Solved

Question

Hello,  I would like to find the directory of temporary internet files (Firefox) under Ubuntu, and it's not to delete the files. Does anyone know where this directory is located?  Thank you Philou

Good evening,
the folder
home/xxxx/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxx.default/Cache
the xxxx should be replaced with your username and the others replace the indications before .default which change according to the user.

I do have a .mozilla directory and a bunch of stuff inside, including a history.dat file, but no Internet temporary files or equivalent folder where temporary information or files are downloaded. Does it exist, and if so, where?

Hi,
I solved the issue with the location of internet temporary files on Ubuntu, but I have a new problem with file size blocking. Indeed, when files of several hundreds of MB are cached, they get stuck at precisely 24.4 MB. How can I recover the entire files?
Are there any settings to adjust in the file options?

With Debian or Ubuntu, swf files are stored in /tmp/
they have no extension and are named something like "FlashDER6SHAO"

on youtube you can retrieve them BEFORE you have fully loaded the video, they tend to get deleted afterwards...
So if you want to recover a file, start loading it and press pause, then when the entire video is loaded you just have to copy and paste it to another directory of your choice... that's it !!
