Hello,

I don’t understand why Excel displays the formula in this way for a simple addition. Could you explain and help me to make the formulas appear in a comprehensible format?

Thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

    Hello
Excel after 2007 file tab Excel 2007 Microsoft logo at the top left
in the window at the bottom, "Excel options"
    on the left "formula"
and look for the line "R1C1 reference style"
unclick it and OK at the bottom

    cheers

I accidentally fell into the same problem !!!

And it is thanks to your guidance that I was able to get out of it and return to the classic formula.
