Unable to uninstall a program

Hello,
I recently downloaded "Pokémon Trading Card Game" (my nostalgia will be the death of me) - anyway, I'm trying to uninstall it because it doesn't seem to work. And then, the problem: I'm trying to uninstall it through Control Panel > Uninstall a program, but every time, a little window pops up saying "Cannot access the network location: Property.USER_PROFILE." No matter how many times I click "Retry" below the text, it doesn't work.

My PC is a Toshiba Satellite C55-A-1N2 and I'm on Windows 8 if that helps.

Thanks in advance!

Maybe your problem has been solved since then, but I also found myself facing this situation and I found a trick:
from "Programs and Features," right-click on Pokémon TCG, but do not click on "uninstall," go to "modify," there you have an option to remove the program that works perfectly.

Perfect as a method. Works very well for me (on Vista).

  • Find the old setup with which you installed the game.
  • Launch it and then choose the "delete" option.

And there you go.
