    Re, In the history of Skype (there's no point in checking on your computer), there is normally a function to search; you just have to enter that person's name (or half of the name, if I understood correctly).

    Do you know his name?
    If not, in Skype, there is usually a chat history or an addition. You just need to take a look there and find that contact.
