Hello, I have a 2006 Opel Corsa, everything was working fine until just now. After starting the car radio, I noticed that all the left-side speakers are not working anymore, no sound at all, while the right ones are working well. Could this be due to a blown fuse or something else?

Thank you for your replies, having music only on one side is a hassle ^^

Hello.

Impossible fuse = since your car radio continues to work. I think my question is silly but... is your G-D balance well positioned? If so, the answer will be "something else." Your speakers, I don't think so, check all your speaker output wires on the car radio (common ground cut). If none of that works, the only thing left is to blame the amp IC. Your car radio is likely a 4 times... watts and consists of 2 stereo ICs; 1 for front and rear right and the same for the left. And if it has blown, which I have a big doubt about, it's going to hurt! 65 € per hour + the IC.
But I still hope for you that it's not any of that.

This is just a suggestion... See you later.

Hi,

Most car radios consist of a single 4-channel TDA.

Hi saw.

Yes indeed. Such as the TDA 7384 A and 86 or Toshiba 2929 HQ. But it has been a few years since I last repaired car radios, so... out of the loop on electronic developments.

Best regards... See you later
