Hello,We bought an LG soundbar for our LG TV a week ago and the installation went smoothly.The TV and LG recorder worked very well.Yesterday, when turning on the TV, I was unable to power on my soundbar with the remote and saw OPTICAL displayed.It only works if I use the digital buttons on the soundbar, OPTICAL appears but I can't switch to another function!I must have pressed something I shouldn't have!When I go to my DVD player, it says: simplink connection.Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 27.0

Hello  have you simply checked the remote control's batteries?  because very often they are supplied, but you can never know how long they have been in stock, even though they are new, they might be almost dead when you receive them... it's rare but it happens  of course, it could also be something else, but start with that.

Yes, I just put in new ones and it’s in the result, so that’s not it.  However, when I set the soundbar to LG Optical, I can adjust the volume of the sound and when it shows OPTOCAL, I can’t.

So I don't know, have you gone to the manufacturer's website to check the frequently asked questions? If not, ask the question in a store near you that sells this kind of item, like Boulanger, Darty... Gitem...  or where you bought it   even better, contact customer service if the bar is new...

Hello,  My problem was solved today, and it deserves to be noted because it wasn't that hard to find. A button on the remote control that was stuck was blocking its functions.
