Bluetooth connection iPhone / JBL Flip

Hello,

I have a JBL Flip that I used to connect via Bluetooth without any issues to my old iPhone 4. Since I got my iPhone 5, it doesn't detect my JBL anymore. Is there an explanation for this, or is it yet another Apple scam to make us buy an adapter?

Hello,
We have the same problem with Bluetooth and we have decided to change phones and get the latest SAMSUNG GALAXY, because it is impossible to work under these conditions. The device does not recognize any Bluetooth device!!!!! It's CRAP.

Thank you, but that doesn't quite answer my question. Indeed, my iPhone 5 detects Bluetooth but not my JBL Flip.

According to what I understood, on your iPhone in the Bluetooth settings, you need to delete everything you had in Bluetooth. Then you search for your JBL; once it's visible, pair it using the code 0000. Also, from what I noticed, you should hold down the Bluetooth button on the JBL for about 3 seconds.

After turning on your JBL, press for 3 seconds; it will flash red and blue, then you can connect it =)

As for me, with the Lumia, no code is needed.

You need to turn off everything and turn on the iPhone, then turn on the iPad. You connect both devices via Bluetooth and you are connected.
