Default printer issue

Hello,
I have an issue with my local printer that I connect via USB cable to my laptop.
Until now, everything was working fine, but now two printers appear:
CANON inkjet 520 series (my printer) and Inkjet multifunction printer, with an attention panel suggesting that there are problems to resolve...
Otherwise, Microsoft XPS is set as default.
When I try to set the 520 printer as default: "Unable to complete this operation error 0x00000709, please check that the printer name is correct and that the printer is connected to the network."
And when I try to print: "Unable to print: printer configuration problem."
I don’t know what to do anymore.
